Welcome to my new hobby - poem writing, which I believe makes me a poemist...

Roses are red
Violets are blue
The audacity of hope
Really only involves you

Don't look to the President
A program or man
But make a life for yourself
Make a goal, make a plan.

Don't vote for someone
Who promises money, houses or boat
It's a bunch of hooey
To simply get a vote.

Sheep don't need a politician
redistributing wealth I've heard
We simply enjoy our lives
And follow a Good Shepard.
